Music Video Filming... or not

We have not done anymore filming since the last time. We filmed all of the shots in the Music Video. We hope we will not have to film again. In the case that we have to film again we anticipate that the shots would be the ones of me and my dog, Evie. These shots will be easy film again since I live walking distance from the park. Transportation will be easy because only one dog and one person are in the shots we may need to reshoot. The reason we may need to reshoot these parts of the music video is that they were filmed vertically on my phone. We know how to make them horizontal. The only issue is that it would cut some of the top and bottom off of the screen. So we will wait to see if it fits correctly in the editing process.

Roscoe and I chose to film everything the first weekend possible. We did this because I went on vacation over thanksgiving break. This is also beneficial because we still have time to film anything we have too again. Another reason filming early was helpful is we have more in class time to edit so there will be no time issue with the editing software. We were able to film so quickly everything went so well the first time we filmed. Everyone showed up on time and was easy to work with. The dogs were obedient and friendly. The weather was perfect. We started early so we never ran out of daylight. We even had some last minute dogs and actors who were willing to be in the video.

Our biggest worry is that the footage will not be filmed correctly for the video. The software at school is very hard to work with. Even uploading the footage from my phone can be hard. This is the only case in which we might need to film again. We would do this to make the editing part of production easier. The filming process went very smoothly. It was easier then we had thought. We were fully prepared and the results were very good. We learned that we must always film horizontally when using our phones. Filming went as planned by the storyboard and is ready to be edited.
